Fairtex gloves are designed with the human hand in mind. The ergonomic fit ensures your hands and wrists are properly supported during training or competition, significantly reducing the risk of injury. The natural curve of the gloves follows the shape of your hand, minimising strain and maximising comfort even during long, intense sessions. This thoughtful design allows you to focus on your performance without worrying about discomfort or pain.

    Versatility

These gloves are made for more than just one combat sport. Whether you're training in Muay Thai, traditional boxing, or kickboxing, Fairtex gloves are designed to perform across disciplines. Their versatility makes them a valuable addition to any fighter’s gear, as they offer the same high level of protection, durability, and comfort no matter the sport.

We have a lot of glove sizes available, starting at 4oz then going all the way up to 20oz.

    • 4oz - 6oz: Junior sizes
    • 8oz - 12oz: Both juniors and adult sizes
    • 12oz - 20oz: Usually reserved just for adults

    Which size do you need?

Gyms typically have their own policy on what size gloves they want you to wear for drills and sparring, a safe bet is to ask your coach first before purchasing.

A simple guideline for you to follow:

    • 8oz/10oz: Glove sizes for amateur & professional competitions
    • 8oz, 10oz & 12oz: Bag/pad work
    • 14oz: Light sparring
    • 16oz and above: Light and heavy sparring

For a lot of gyms, 16oz for sparring is a must but confirm with your coach if 14oz is permitted for light sparring.

There is also nothing wrong with getting one pair of 14oz (check with your trainer) or 16oz gloves that you can use for everything. We actually advise this if you are a beginner and don't want to spend too much money on your first purchase of equipment.

If you then feel like you'd prefer a lighter pair of gloves or you see another design that you like, you can then get a second pair that is 10oz/12oz just for pad/bagwork.
